In this video we visit all the major historical attractions in Athens. The Acropolis Museum, the
Temple of Zeus, the Greek Theatre, and the Parthenon. We explore the Plaka, the oldest part of
downtown Athens, and the waterfront in Piraeus. On Amorgos we visit the 11th century Hosoviotissa
Monastery and explore ancient Minoan ruins. Paros has a 4th century Byzantine church and Delos has ruins
dating back to Athenian rule. Mikonos is the most popular destination for young travelers. Naxos makes
its own wine and has the best marble quarries in Greece. Folegandros is off the beaten path and Santorini
is the most visually stunning island in all of Greece. There's a brief stop in Rhodes to see the Castello
built in the 14th century and lastly we travel to Naphlion on the Peloponnese peninsula for wonderful views
of the harbor from the citadel of Akronaphlia.
