East Carson River

We launched from Hangman's Bridge near Markleeville in California in early June of 2005. Our goal was to find the hot springs that lie half-way down the river near the Nevada border. The East fork of the Carson River is flowing at over 2400 cubic feet per second and is ice cold. After camping for the night we search for the hot springs the next day. We finally found them and they are far better than we could have imagined. After a quick soak, we continue on down to Gardnerville in Nevada for the pullout.

Approximate running time: 28 minutes (also available on DvD)
