Cache Creek

Cache Creek is probably the safest and most friendly river to run in California. The put-in is at the confluence of Bear Creek and Cache Creek and you may see hundreds of people here with rafts and water guns. Our family members begin by manuevering through class 2+ rapids and pull out just before the low water bridge. The bridge is too low to go under so we must portage around it. After another 3 miles of fun we reach the infamous rapids called "Mother", and 2 miles later finally pullout at Camp Haswell.

Approximate running time: 25 minutes (also available on DvD)
